relive 2022

Whether you couldn't make it to Rome, missed it or just want to relive and share those amazing moments of the B for Good Leaders Summit 2022.

Business must be for good, for people and for planet.

Business must be for good, for people and for planet.

Finally, business for good is becoming the zeitgeist. It’s clear that business has to change and economies have to become regenerative. But who is taking the lead?

The ‘Business for Good | Leaders Summit’ in Rome is the world’s first meeting of the ‘business-for-good’ movement. Founders, owners, board members, C-Suite executives and investors come together to join forces. We’re looking forward to a 2,5 day encounter to share projects, ventures and innovations. To create business opportunities and partnerships advancing the regenerative economy we need.

Let's elevate the global conversation on a new economic system centered around regeneration

As business leaders we can be the agents of change to rebuild our broken economic system. This summit is the place to accelerate the transition towards a regenerative economy that creates more social and environmental value than it extracts. We aim for a joint leadership statement, collective actions, coalitions, new ventures and new politics, through a common understanding between a wide range of executive leaders using business for good.

The 'Business for Good' Movement is made up of certified and aspiring B Corps, Societá Benefit in Italy, Entreprise-a-Mission in France, Benefit Corporations in the USA, Empresas B in South America, etc, B Investors, B City executives, B Lawyers, educational and government leaders. Altogether, these amount to 25,000-30,000 individual champions of a new business class building the economy the world needs. Others who share this vision are welcome to join.

This is an invitation-only event. If you would like to be invited, please contact us.

Rome: the eternal city

Rome is universally recognised for its history and beauty. Because Rome has known how to be born, to flourish, to decay and to be reborn throughout its 2775 years. The world needs Rome so that it can host the conversation that is accelerating in the world about the regenerative economy and keep it flowing through its resilience into the future.

This will be the first edition of a journey that will last for years to come and Rome will know how to accompany it.

FOR GOOD LEADERS DECLARATION

Our present economic system is flawed. It is guided by a short-term vision that only takes the interests of a limited number of stakeholders into account and is deaf to the call of future generations.

The annual For Good Leaders Summit exists to accelerate the transition towards a regenerative economy creating the conditions for a shared, durable prosperity. This will create social, environmental, and economic net positive value through a new model of regenerative leadership.

As inhabitants of planet Earth, we take up this intergenerational call which demands to reframe the very meaning of leadership.

To enable this evolution, as For Good Leaders, we commit to:

1. embrace radical interdependence, the fundamental principle governing life on Earth, as the golden rule for decision-making, leading to a regenerative impact;

2. consider at least the next generation of humans in every business decision;

3. measure what matters to integrate systemic value creation into our definition of profit;

4. challenge extractive economic models and take a stand for the common good;

5. mobilize finance as a catalyst to transform the business perspective from short-termism to long-term shared value creation.

We commit to guiding our companies and organizations to embrace a purpose-driven model that creates value for all.

Through this joint leadership statement, we lay the foundation for collective actions and alliances, clearing the path for a new regenerative economy.
